Dude I looked up "Kevin" on behindthename.com and according to it, the name "Kevin" is an Anglicized form of the Irish name Caoimhin (derived from the older Irish Coemgein) which composed the Old Irish elements coem ("kind" "gentle" "handsome") and gein ("birth")
